We are delighted to introduce LockTech Training, a new training provider created to train the next generation of locksmith apprentices in New Zealand.
The Master Locksmiths Association of Australasia has worked closely with LockTech Training as its new facility has developed, and we are proud to be sponsoring the purchase of equipment. The organisation’s three Directors, Fraser Burns, Kim Munden and Frances Munden, are all qualified locksmiths with nearly 100 years of experience between them. Fraser Burns is a Life Member of the MLAA, and currently administers the MLAA Trade Test on behalf of the Association.
LockTech Training has secured a three-year contract with Competenz to deliver training and sign off New Zealand apprentices for their year two and year three block courses. LockTech Training has set up a modern, well-equipped training facility in Tokoroa in the middle of the North Island.
This is a significant step forward for the locksmith industry in New Zealand. The industry now has access to a dedicated training facility with three experienced and passionate trainers, and a long-awaited pathway to training locksmiths in a fast changing, dynamic industry.
The MLAA will keep you updated as the new facility develops, and for more information in the meantime please contact LockTech Training:
