In partnership with Beyond Blue, the MLAA is running a new webinar with practical guidance on how to manage and improve the mental health of small businesses.
The past 18 months have taken a toll on all of us, perhaps none more so than small businesses and sole traders, and guidance on managing mental health is something members have asked the Association for.
The stresses small businesses have faced because of the coronavirus pandemic have been huge. A recent report from the Australian Government found that two thirds of small business owners say the pandemic has affected their mental health.
Having a mentally healthy workplace is key to the success of your business, and the wellbeing of yourself and your staff. There are a range of red flags to watch out for, practices that can improve the mental health of a workplace, and resources and support available for those that need it.
This webinar, presented by Beyond Blue’s Small Business Engagement Manager Mel Novak, aims to give you a primer on those management techniques, as well as introduce you to some of the fantastic free support programs that have been launched in Australia and New Zealand for small businesses.
The event is free for all MLAA members.
