Governance


The Master Locksmiths Association of Australasia Limited is a Corporations Law company and is governed by statute.  The Association's overall governance is vested in the Board of Directors which operates under the Corporations Act 2001.

The Board of Directors comprises the National President and six Directors elected to represent the five Australian Branches and New Zealand. Branch Directors are elected by members of their respective Branches.   The National President is elected by the membership as a whole and acts as Chair of the Board.

Branches

Branches are represented on the Board by Directors elected by Branch members.  Members also elect or otherwise appoint a Branch Executive to support members in Branches by providing leadership and guidance as well as creating local opportunities for networking and professional development.
